NASA Propulsion Tech Accelerates 'Flying Cars' Reality"

NASA unvails. The possibility of flying automobiles may soon be within reach. Despite many people's dreams, flying personal transportation has always appeared to be a step ahead of the present.

Anyone who has watched "Blade Runner" or "The Jetsons" knows that "The Future" is incomplete without them. Now, a business is coming out to claim it has the solution to build these amazing flying vehicles, and its central propulsion system has been proven by NASA, so it's hard to ignore.

Applied eVTOL Concepts unveiled their plan for the Epiphany Transporter this week. According to the company, the VTOL vehicle can reach speeds of 160 mph (258 kph). It remains silent at 50 feet (15 meters) in the air, producing less than 55 decibels of noise. This is comparable to the volume of a steady rain (50 dB) or a normal human conversation (60 dB).

Moshier, the primary designer and CEO of the business, stated, "We have every reason to believe in the ability of our proprietary, field-proven ducted thrusters and leading-edge vehicle design, to perform in flight as expected.".

The plane can accommodate two people and their bags. According to the manufacturer, the Epiphany can fit in a standard one-car garage and is around the size of a Tesla Model S.

How NASA's Propulsion Technology Redefines Travel

Even though the company's ducted thruster performed well in the wind tunnel, it doesn't imply that flying automobiles will soon be available.

Several VTOL firms have come and gone, and among them have been engineers from NASA.

However, building on previous designs is always good engineering practice, so this may finally be the genuine deal.
